The Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) is committed to helping you reach your health and well-being goals this new year. Whether you want to tone up or shape down no matter your goal we have a program to help you reach it. So grab your sneakers and don’t forget your water bottle and we’ll see you in the gym. Here’s a sneak peek at everything we have going on over the month of January.

Kick of the semester with the 2019 Roundball Classic! This is an open basketball tournament - anyone can play on any team - following standard basketball rules. There is a limit of 12 teams in the tournament. Registration is now open and closes Jan. 11th at 2 pm. The tournament takes places Jan.14th-15th beginning at 6 pm on the 4th-floor courts. For the adventure seeker, outdoor recreation offers a variety of trips throughout the month of January. Trips include backpacking, vertical caving, cascading, rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking. All trips include gear rental, instructions, and transportation, not to mention an expert guide to take you on the journey. These trips are available to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Make sure to come with a sense of adventure and desire to learn something new! Intramural season is just around the corner and registration opens January 14th- 17th for Phase 1. You can show your moves on the court with basketball, indoor soccer, and racquetball all available to play. The first day of the season begins January 20th and spots are limited so we recommend registering early. Go to crc.gatech.edu/intramurals to learn more.

The CRC is hiring for lifeguards, scorekeepers, and officials! We are accepting applications all semester for lifeguards! Both already certified and not yet certified applicants are eligible to apply. Got to crc.gatech.edu/lifeguard to apply today. If you are interested in being a scorekeeper or official you must attend all clinic dates and be a Georgia Tech student. The first clinic date is Thursday, January 10th from 6-7: 30 pm in the CRC. Are you looking for a way to change up your workout this New Year? During the Campus Recreation (CRC) preview week, current patrons can try any group fitness class for FREE. Preview week runs Jan. 7th – 13th and includes both group fitness classes and instructional courses. You can get your membership now for both group fitness classes and instructional courses for the full spring semester. Group fitness classes are only $73 for students and $78 for non-students. In addition to all of the above, the CRC is a world-class facility offering aquatics programs, fitness classes and programs, competitive sports, and outdoor recreation all semester long.
