Shea Wilkey joined the Campus Recreation Team in April 2025 as the Assistant Director of Aquatics. He graduated from Middle Georgia State University in 2019 with a BS in Aviation & Aeronautical Science and Management.
His Aquatics career started back in 2016 when he started as a pool manager for United Pools pool Management. He then went on to work for Gwinnett County Parks and Rec as a Facility Manager for 2 pools (2017 – 2021) and then transitioned to the YMCA where he served as an Aquatics Director from 2021 – 2025.
Outside of work, he enjoys working out, playing baseball and going to Braves games, where he is a season tickets holder with his fiancé.
