Shan Paracka

Shan Paracka joined Georgia Tech in June 2024 as the Assistant Director of Competitive Sports.  In his current role he oversees Intramural Sports and Sport Club programming for Campus Recreation. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Shan worked in Campus Recreation at Kennesaw State University (2022-2024) as the Assistant Director of Sport Programs, Louisiana State University (2019-2022) as the Coordinator of Intramural Sports and Camp, Rowan University (2017-2019) as the Graduate Assistant of Intramural Sports, Club Sports, and Special Events, and at Florda Gulf Coast University (2016-2017) as the Competitive Sports Intern. 

Shan attended Mercer University (2012-2016) earning a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, then attended Rowan University earning a master’s degree in Higher Education, Administration. Outside of work he enjoys being outdoors, working out, or spending time with his family.
