EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT
Members may rent a wide variety of equipment for daily use within the CRC. Equipment is available for check out at one of our Equipment Issue desks, located on the first and fourth floors of the CRC.
CHECKOUT PROCESS
- Present your valid BuzzCard to check items out, and return them before leaving the facility.
- Equipment is first come, first serve unless reserved with the Facilities Coordinator ahead of time.
- Equipment utilized for daily use is free of charge for CRC members.
- Guests may not checkout equipment in the CRC.
- Items intended for use within the facility must be checked back in the same day it is checked out, 10 minutes prior to the close of the building unless an overnight reservation has been made. Patron must return the same item checked out.
- Equipment that is requested to be rented overnight or not returned the same day by students and active student organizations will be charged a daily rental fee. GT faculty, staff, and affiliates will be charged for daily and overnight rentals.
- Wheelchairs are available upon request. Patrons can request wheelchair accommodations by calling the CRC (Member Services) at 404-385-7529 or stopping at the desk.

RENTING
To rent and return equipment, visit the Member Services desk inside the CRC; equipment will be inspected upon return before any necessary payment is made. Submit rental requests at least 7 days before your event; late requests are evaluated case by case.

TERMS OF SERVICES
Our staff inspects all equipment before issuing; however, to assist in preventing a wrongful charge, please inspect the equipment yourself and notify the staff member if there is a problem. Equipment checked out that day is due before the Equipment Issue desks close or else a late fee will be charged to the patron’s account. Late fees follow the Daily Rental Fee rates, which can be found on the Equipment Rental Fees section.
By checking out equipment, the patron agrees equipment is in good condition and accepts responsibility for paying a fee if the equipment is lost, stolen, damaged, returned late or not returned. CRC access may be suspended at the discretion of the CRC professional staff if a fee is charged and not paid.
