Capoeira

Capoeira is a Brazilian movement form that incorporates martial arts, dance, and song with acrobatics and cleverness. It is a dynamic physical and cultural form of expression open to all. Benefits of practicing Capoeira go well beyond getting fit.

Express Fit

The ExpressFit program is open to CRC members who are employees at Georgia Tech. The program includes 30-minute workout sessions. The circuit-style classes will be led by certified GIT FIT personal trainers and will include both cardio and strength training intervals.

FIT Camp

This class will focus on a full body workout using a variety of equipment. FIT Camp will push you and your body to the next FITness level. You will test your cardiovascular endurance, agility, and speed in ways you only dreamed.

Hapkido

We blend Traditional Hapkido with the best concepts from Jujitsu, Judo, Wrestling and the weapon based arts. Hapkido is a "soft" Korean martial art that includes wrestling, kicks, strikes, throws, self-defense, weapons and sparring. A realistic view of self-defense is stressed.

Krav Maga

Krav Maga is a battle proven form of self-defense originally developed for the Isreali Military. It is based on instinctual movements and natural reflexes. Because if this, ANYONE has the ability to learn how to defend themselves effectively in a short amount of time.

Muay Thai Kickboxing

Muay Thai is an ancient Martial Art that will get you “Fear Less & FIT”! A Muay Thai workout is a great and unique workout that has many benefits. It will help increase agility, speed and cardiovascular, endurance and strength.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is about slowing down and relaxing the body through passive stretching. Over the course of 4 or 5 weeks, you will learn to let your muscles relax deeply. Restorative yoga differs from Vinyasa-style yoga through the usage of props to support your body rather than engagement of your muscles.

Shaolin Kung-Fu

The Shaolin Temples have been considered to be the collective of martial art training. Each temple developed their own specialized systems, as well as, inviting other masters from the outside the temples to display their skills. Kung-Fu is the External Program that focuses on quick, powerful, flexible, and fluid motions.

Shaolin Tai Chi

The Shaolin Temples have been considered to be the collective of martial art training. Each temple developed their own specialized systems, as well as, inviting other masters from the outside the temples to display their skills. Tai Chi is the Internal Program which concentrates on precision of motion, stability of body mechanics, and chi development.

Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi

The Shaolin Temples have been considered to be the collective of martial art training. Each temple developed their own specialized systems, as well as, inviting other masters from the outside the temples to display their skills. The Chinese Shaolin Center at Georgia Tech is broken down into two (2) programs: External and Internal.

Taido

Taido is a Japanese martial art featuring a three-dimensional approach to movement. We emphasize changing the body’s axis to avoid attacks while countering simultaneously. Taido’s spinning, twisting, and tumbling techniques adapt to situations in real time by adjusting the spatial relationship with the opponent.

R.I.P.P.E.D. Extreme
