Aug 16, 2018 | CRC - Leadership Challenge Course
Join the Campus Recreation (CRC) for our first event of the fall, RecFest 2018, on August 28th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Leadership Challenge Course. This event is a great way to meet our staff, enjoy free food, get this year’s iconic CRC shirt, listen to music, and play yard games while learning more about the many programs and services you can expect throughout the year.
RecFest started last year as a way to offer a glimpse into what the CRC provides throughout the year. CRC Assistant Director of Competitive Sports and co-creator of this event, Dan Hazlett said, “We understand that there is a lot of information to process during FASET. Our objective in creating RecFest was to provide students the opportunity to dive deeper into what CRC provides, at a time that is not as busy for new and returning students in a fun and engaging atmosphere.”
CRC provides something for every interest and athletic ability. Our state-of-the-art fitness center, world class aquatic facilities, and recreation fields all offer a unique and changing approach to health and well-being. Our fitness program promotes activity and restoration through classes, personal trainers, and massage therapy. CRC’s outdoor recreation program gets you into nature around Georgia as well as abroad through our outdoor adventure trips! If you are interested in competing collegiately you can do so through intramural and sport clubs. Whatever your preference, CRC has an activity for you that will best fit your journey to health and well-being and it all starts at RecFest!
Bring your friends, grab the 2018 RecFest shirt created by a fellow student, zip line, play games and meet the team who keeps the CRC running. RecFest takes place rain or shine, should inclement weather dampen the outside fun, come find us in the CRC Main Gym on level 4. For more information follow us on facebook @GTCampusRecreation.
